What is recorded here

Undergrowth now strangles the ringfort in County Cork, hiding a man-made passage cut into its north-west quadrant. People built that tunnel deliberately, perhaps to reach clean air, store possessions or escape danger when storms pressed the land. The forgotten entrance still waits beneath the vines, waiting for someone patient enough to listen for the difference between solid earth and hollow space.
