Man-made underground passage in Grange (ballintober South By.) is a man-made underground passage in Grange (ballintober South By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It lies inside rath RO028-185 and appeared as a narrow north-south depression in 1983. The passage is now visible as a rectangular hollow measuring 8.8 metres north-south, 3 metres east-west and 0.3 to 0.5 metres deep just west of the rath centre.

In the interior of rath (RO028-185----). Discovered in 1983 when it appeared as a depression (L 3m; Wth 1.5m; D 0.5m) aligned N-S inside the perimeter at NW which turned E at its N end (L 5m) and then S (L 7m) (SMR file). It is now visible as a rectangular depression (dims 8.8m N-S; 3m E-W; D 0.3-0.5m) just W of the centre of the rath. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
