One chamber is irregular, the other oval, and both dropped shafts into the earth before men stopped using them. A farm machine tore open the roof in Garryantaggart, exposing what loyalty or fear had hidden beneath the ringfort. The creepway between them is narrow enough to force every visitor into humility.

In levelled ringfort (CO044-04501-); discovered during harrowing 1m below present ground surface. Cleary (1986, 146) describes two chambers, partially earth and rock-cut joined by creepway; chambers much disturbed. Chamber 1: irregular (2.5m SW-NE; 2m NW-SE; H 1.2m-1.5m); part of construction shaft at W end. Chamber 2: oval (2.5m NW-SE; 1.5m SW-NE; H c.11.3m); construction shaft at W end; entrance shaft at NW end.
