Three fields east of the forgotten stone fort, a man-made passage still opens beneath projecting rock in County Cork. Its stone-lined throat leads into chambers now lost to time, waiting for someone brave enough to follow the dark.
McCarthy (1977, 339) listed a Man-made underground passage '3 fields E of stone fort [probably referring to the enclosure CO069-036----], opening under projecting rock. Passage stone-lined. Chambers from passage'. Exact location not known.
