Man-made underground passage

In or beside possible ringfort (CO050-125001-). Quarry (1896, 384) mentioned a cavern which 'extends at least six feet', beyond which is a smaller passage. Small opening in ground probably indicates position. Inaccessible. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
