Detached four-bay single-storey former gate lodge, built c.1820. Now in use as private house. Recent flat roof extension to rear (west). Hipped artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and uPVC rainwater goods. Painted rendered walls. Square-headed openings with two-over-two timber sliding sash windows and stone sills. Square-headed opening with timber battened door. Abutted to side (north) by rubble limestone wall with painted rendered piers.

The asymmetrical appearance of this gate lodge would appear to be the result of the addition of a terminating bay to south-west, which lends the building a vernacular appearance. A regular three-bay façade would conform with the traditional form of simple, classically inspired gate lodges built in the nineteenth century, making this a quirky addition to the architectural heritage.
