What is recorded here
In pasture, on steep S-facing hill-slope. Roughly circular area (35.5m N-S; 37m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 0.25m; Wth 1.8m). Bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 2.3m) gradually increases its external height as it progresses down-slope to S. Entrance (Wth 3.5m) at NNW. Fosse is best preserved SSW->NW, but has been infilled N->NE. Field boundary runs tangentially to external bank face at S. Interior, under pasture, slopes down to SE.
