What is recorded here

Situated on a NE-SW ridge in an upland area with a possible ringfort (TN031-043002) immediately to the SW. The poorly preserved remains of a possible ringfort consisting of an oval-shaped area (diam. 41m NW-SE; 21m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (H 0.7m) with a field fence bisecting the interior on a NE-SW axis. No visible trace of a fosse or entrance feature. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
