Five-span stone road-over-river hump-back bridge, built c. 1830, refurbished c. 2000. Uncoursed rubble limestone walling extends upwards to form parapets, triangular squared-rubble cutwaters with pyramidal caps, circular steel strengthening pattresses. Round-headed arches decreasing in height towards banks, dressed limestone voussoirs with alternate stones protruding, large keystones. Insitu concrete parapet coping. Macadamed carriageway. Spans east-west over Unshin River. In rural setting.
This handsome road bridge with its graded arched openings is prominent in the rural landscape. The simple masonry work is competently executed.
