On lower SW slopes of Claragh Mountain. Low elongated pile (L 4m; H 0.4m) of small stones (possible field clearance) now marks position of cairn. According to Broker (1937, 55) 'The leacht is 7 or 8 feet in diameter atbase and is 4 or 5 feet high, its shape being a worn cone'. It was thought to be the burial place of a travelling woman murdered at this spot; all who passed by cast a stone on her "carn". This custom had died out in Broker's time.
