Tom Mullane farmed the double-fenced ring on the Comeenatrush slope, but a modern bungalow yard now bites into its southwest edge. The earthen bank still curves across the pasture, preserving a circular shadow that human greed repeatedly forgot.

In pasture, on E-facing slope overlooking Comeenatrush River. Circular area (21.6m N-S) defined by low earthen bank (int. H 0.1m; ext. H 1.75m) NNW->SSE. Field boundary shown curving SSE->NNW on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps possibly incorporated bank; levelled, with yard of bungalow truncating SW side of enclosure. Interior raised on E side to compensate for hillslope. Locally known as fort; referred to by Broker (1937, 49) as 'fort, one eight acre, double fence, half levelled' on Tom Mullane's land.
