Ladys Well is a holy spring on the north bank of the Owenboy river where people walked rounds on Lady's Day. The wet ground still gives water, and the well remains a ritual site in County Cork.

Linked to Marian devotion, the well was associated with rituals held on Lady's Day (15 August), reflecting a tradition of pilgrimage and prayer to the Virgin Mary for health and protection. Such sites often became focal points for local folklore, with the water believed to have healing properties.
