Situated on a gentle S-facing slope. Rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 80m E-W; c. 60m N-S) marked on the first edition OS 6-inch map and a castle (WI039-013002-) named on the current edition. Neither visible at ground level. (Price 1936, 52)
