Killiane Castle is a seven-bay farmhouse built by Reverend James Harvey between 1725 and 1735, standing beside a stronger fourteenth-century castle in south County Wexford. Its silver-grey granite walls, carved timber doors and dog-leg staircase still hold the shape of an early eighteenth-century household, while ivy and lichen soften the edges. The Harvey name returns through captains, sheriffs and distant halls, suggesting generations lived inside these rooms before leases and sales changed their fate.
