What is recorded here
On a low knoll in a gently undulating landscape. Described in 1981 as a circular area (int. diam. c. 24m N-S) defined by a low, overgrown and gapped earthen bank, with a shallow outer fosse SE-W-N (SMR file). It is now visible as a grass-covered platform (diam. 23m) defined by a low scarp (H 0.4-1m). It remains unplanted in a recently planted forest (Bing c. 2013).
