What is recorded here

A mid/late 19th-century limekiln built into a slope at the W side of a junction of two minor roads with a small stream to the W. The overgrown random rubble front wall (H 4m; Wth 4.6m) faces W. The central arched recess (H 1.5m; Wth 1.6m; D 1.7m) has sloping slabs to the rear. The rear wall of the kiln is 1.5m high. The kiln has a stone-lined funnel (diam. 1.8m).
