What is recorded here

Situated on a NW-facing slope of Croughaun Hill. Grass-covered circular area (diam. 35m NE-SW; 33m NW-SE) defined by a low scarp (H 0.3m) with traces of a slight external fosse (Wth c. 4m) visible as a vegetation change. There is no visible entrance. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
