Indicated

In rough hill pasture, in a sheltered hollow, on a S-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain. The remains of an L-shaped dwelling (7.1m E-W; 6m N-S) with the projection (Wth 3.4m) at the W end. A random rubble drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 1.4m) forms the N, W and parts of the S and E sides. An oval cattle pen (int. dims.: 7m E-W; 4m N-S) is inserted into the SE corner. A blocked-up lintelled window and door ope occur in the W wall; a door ope in the E wall is formed by a gap between the wall and the cattle pen. These appear to be 18th-19th century structures; the W building - possible dwelling and the E - possible animal fold, were used for penning sheep in more recent times.
