indicated is a crannog in Loughglinn Demesne, County Roscommon, Ireland. In 1590, Dualtach O'Conor of Brackloon was besieged here by Sir Richard Bingham, who captured the crannog. The oval, overgrown island sits about 130m from the south shore of Lough Glinn, opposite Loughglynn House on the northeast shore. Stone revetments and steps leading to the water at the north and east indicate ornamental use during the 18th or 19th century.

About 130m from the S shore of subrectangular Lough Glinn (dims c. 0.9-1.1.7 km WNW-ESE; c. 200-450m N-S), called Lough Lane in the 1590s, and opposite Loughglynn House (RO020-007001-) which is on the NE shore. In 1590 Dualtach O'Conor of Brackloon was beseiged here by Sir Richard Bingham who captured the crannog (Anon 1887-8, 344; O'Donovan, 1891, 206). Oval overgrown, steep-sided island (dims. 33.5m NNW-SSE; 25m NNE-SSW; H 1.2m) which is revetted with stones and has steps (Wth 1.2m; 1/6m) leading to the water at N and E, indicating ornamental use in the 18th or 19th century.
