The fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Lackancahill is in County Sligo, Ireland. It occupies a slight elevation in level pasture and forms a raised circular area twenty-eight point five metres across. A three-metre-wide earthen bank encloses the space, stands one point six metres high outside, and leaves a possible eastern entrance one point six metres wide. A semi-circular heap of stones near the centre marks a possible man-made underground passage.

Situated on a slight elevation in level pasture. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 28.5m) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth. 3m; int. H 0.5-0.65m; ext. H 1.6m). The original entrance may be at E where there is a gap (Wth 1.6m). A semi-circular heap of stones roughly in the centre of the enclosed area marks the location of a possible Man-made underground passage (SL016-027002-). Compiled by: Patrick F.
