What is recorded here
Marked as a singe farmstead on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on a gentle N-facing slope. An area of c. 3 ha contains small rectangular fields (dims. c. 20m x c. 20m to c. 20m x c. 50m) defined by low earthen banks (Wth c. 1m; H 0.4m) with silted drains, or low scarps. One house site (RO010-127002-) is recognisable as a platform (dims. 8m NW-SE; c. 5m NE-SW) defined by low scarps.
