What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined ringfort in Mid Cork where sheep still walk the broken circle and the surviving bank has become a ordinary field fence. The local name is a lios, a fairy fort, which means the place belongs to the old world and must be left alone. People may have lived there before the fairies took it back, but the earth has kept its own secret and the fence has hidden the truth in plain sight.
