Sited immediately E of the highest point of a drumlin hill. Marked 'Fort' on OS 1836 and 1876eds. Roughly circular raised area (int. dims. 29.6mNE-SW; 27.6m NW-SE) enclosed by a low earthen bank with a very wide, shallow, internal fosse. The greater part of the bank has been modified and incorporated into the field boundary. Slight traces are identifiable from ENE-NNE. Original entrance not recognisable.
