Located towards the bottom of an E-facing slope of Croughaun Hill, with a W-E stream c. 50m to the S. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 34.5m N-S; 34.5m E-W) defined by the remains of a fosse (Wth of top 5.5-7m; D 0.3m (upslope) SW-NE to 1.3m NE-SW) with an outer bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 1.4m; ext. H 0.4-0.6m SW-NE: Wth 4.5m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 0.5-2m NE-SW) which has been severely eroded by cattle. The entrance (Wth 3.3m) and causeway are at E. Rath (WA007-041----) is c. 100m to the NNE.
