Indicated, Glebe

On flat pasture 925m SE of the Camoge River and 430m W of the townland boundary with Ballycullane. The house site is located 300m NE of the enclosure (LI031-196----). A house (ext. dims. c. 15m NNE-SSW; 6m WNW-ESE) with a small paddock and lane are depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map at the site with ‘Glebe’ lands most likely belonging to Glenogra Church (LI031-038005-). The house and paddock were removed by 1897 when the OSi 25-inch ed. map was published. The site is visible as uneven ground on the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 64: AP 4/3598.) as an enclosure. The site is visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 05/04/2006 or on the latest Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018 as uneven ground reflecting the underlying buried house foundations.
