In pasture. Indicated as penannular enclosure (diam. c. 60m), open to S, surrounding Springfort House on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Arc (C 44.6m) formed by earthen bank (max. int. H 1.35m; ext. H 1m) survives SSW -> NNW; continues as low rise NNW -> NNE. Farm buildings built on area of E bank. Dwelling house and farm buildings in interior. Fosse survives as shallow depression to SW.
