Indicated

Situated on a SE-facing slope in a coniferous forest on what was the demesne land of Drumhierny Lodge c. 100m to the NW. The parkland had been laid out by P. Latouche and was worthy of note (Lewis 1837, vol. 2, 214). This feature is a circular overgrown area (diam. c. 33m) with deciduous trees defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.1m at SW to 2.2m at SE; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.2m-1.4m) and an outer fosse or drain (Wth of base 0.9m at SW to 1.8m at SE; ext. D 0.1m at SE to 0.4m at SW). There is no identifiable entrance.
