In quarry, overgrown kiln in poor repair. Random-rubble walls encase core. Partially collapsed front elevation faces SW; arched recess (H 1.3m; Wth. 2.2m), remains of sloping slabs at rear with stoking hole. Recess choked with collapsed core material. Rear overgrown, funnel infilled. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
