In rough pasture, on very gentle N-facing slope. Active limestone quarry adjacent to the N. Sub-rectangular area (22.7m N-S; 27.4m E-W) enclosed by dry-stone wall (H 1m) along E and W sides with slightly curved corners at NNW and NE; wall has been removed NNW->NE. Artificially raised area, with cattle crush on top, defines area SE->SW via scarp-edge (H 1.05m). Interior under pasture, with modern wire fence on N-S axis dividing it. Described by Westropp (1916-17, 32) as a 'nearly levelled late cattle-pen'. Compiled by: Denis Power Date of upload: 26 August 2011
