Indicated

Situated on a knoll (at N: H c. 1.5m) in a low-lying landscape between drumlins. A small rectangular enclosure attached to another field on the N with a house is depicted on the 1834 edition of the OS 6-inch map, and it is a represented as a circular feature (diam. c. 15m) on the 1907 edition. There is a record of a fort at Corlustia (IFC Schools’ MSS (936) 62: https://www.duchas.ie/en/cbes ) which was 'taken away on account of being infested with rabbits’. The area has been extensively quarried (OSAP: 1995), and no evidence of an antiquity is now evident in an overgrown area.
