What is recorded here

Indicated is a small oval crannog in Corraback or Teemore Lough, County Cavan, Ireland, sitting sixty metres from the shoreline. Charcoal, bones and iron slag once lay upon its fifteen-by-thirteen-meter surface, suggesting people worked metal or kept fires there before the water took the wood back.

Situated in Corraback or Teemore Lough, c. 60m from the shoreline. Small oval island (dims. 15m by 13m). Davies (NMI Survey 1946) recorded finds of charcoal, burnt and unburnt bones and iron slag but no visible wooden structure.
