Depicted as hachured roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) immediately to E of Coolnahane House on 1842 OS 6-inch map, with limekiln on S bank; enclosure indicated on 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps with farm buildings in interior to W and N. Levelled; no visible surface trace of site. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 66) as single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 40yd) to E of J. Lane's house; rampart c. 3 to 6ft H; interior used as stack yard.
