What is recorded here

Marked faintly as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6 inch map, and situated on a N-facing slope. This is a subcircular area (dims. 45m E-W; 40m N-S) defined by a fosse (Wth 6 8m; D 0.2-0.4m). A possible entrance is visible as a slight fold in the outer lip (L 7m) at NNE. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
