A sub-rectangular graveyard (map dims. c. 140m NW-SE; c. 55m NE-SW) located on high level ground with the river Barrow to the W. Remains of round tower (CW026-011002-), high cross (CW026-011003-) and a number of ecclesiastical buildings within it.

Early Christian graveyard, likely 7th–10th century AD, associated with a monastic site. Significance lies in its connection to St. Mullin, an important medieval saint, and the presence of a round tower and high cross, indicating a major religious center in the early Irish church.
