Clogarlt Castle stands as an unclassified ruin in County Kilkenny, its exact history hidden beneath grass and silence. The site preserves no public record, inviting imagination rather than certainty. What remains is a ghost of a building, perhaps a home, perhaps a fortress, reduced to suggestion.
