Indicated is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Cartronkillerdoo, County Sligo, Ireland. The raised circular area measures 23 metres across internally and surrounds a stone wall built of boulders. Cattle have broken through the southwest wall, though the original entrance remains unidentified. The cashel now serves as a cattle enclosure within pasture that affords good views to the north.
In pasture affording good views to the N. Raised circular area (int. diam. 23m) enclosed by a stone wall built of boulders. No indication of a fosse. Cattle have broken through the wall on the SW side but there is no indication of the location of the original entrance. The cashel is now used as a cattle enclosure. Compiled by: Patrick F.
