Situated on a ridge in rough pasture. Raised circular area (dims. 33.5m NE-SW; 23m NW-SE) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth. 1.5m; max H 3m). No fosse. Original entrance may have been at SE. Within the internal area at SE is the entrance to a Man-made underground passage (see SL002-008002-).
