What is recorded here

Indicated was a fairy fort on an east-facing Cork slope, visible only on a 1842 map before fence work removed its earth. It escaped human memory, perhaps because the fairies refused to be owned. What men called misfortune may have been warning.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Marked as circular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842). Levelled, probably during field fence removal. No visible surface trace.
