Roadside, built against slight slope. Front c. 5m high; arched recess (H 1.7m; Wth 2.2m; D 1.8m). Outline of gabled roof above recess; walls project on each side from front, possible remains of roofed structure. Stone-lined funnel (diam. 1.8m) narrows towards base. Top of kiln enclosed by stone wall (H c. 1m). Ramp to rear, sides enclosed by stone wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
