Rectangular area defined by outer line of hachures on 1842 OS 6-inch map, with chamfered SW corner forming a fifth side and inner line of hachures defining circular interior; indicated as roughly rectangular enclosure (c. 50m E-W; c. 40m N-S) on 1905 and 1937 OS 6-inch maps. According to local information, levelled 1974-1984 during land reclamation. In marshy scrubland. No visible surface trace of site. May be 'quadrangular' fort (48yds x 43yds) on Denis O'Sullivan's land, described by Bowman (1934, 374) as double-ramparted with outer rampart removed and fosse infilled; possible Man-made underground passage (13326) in NE quadrant. Second fort (12934) is described by Bowman (ibid.) as separate but entering into SW corner of quadrangular fort.
