Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Lisgriffin

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, above sharper fall of ground to E and S. Circular area (28.5m N-S; 28.2m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.9m); external fosse (D 0.5m). Break (Wth 1m) in bank to WSW. Bank and interior planted with deciduous trees. Fosse almost fully silted-up on E side. NW quadrant of bank forms part of field fence system.
