Indicated is a circular fairy fort in County Mayo, Ireland, where a sod-covered stone bank still marks the edge of a level interior. Local tradition claims the rath served as a children’s burial ground, giving its quiet pasture setting a tender and unsettling purpose. A telegraph pole stands on the northern bank, joining ancient belief and modern utility in the same small circle.

In gently undulating pasture, on a low rise with good views of the surrounding landscape. Circular area (31m ENE-WNW; 30.8m NNW-SSE) defined by a sod-covered stone bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.6m) at N-ENE, reduced elsewhere to a scarp (ext. H 0.8m at SW; 1m at NNW) with a slight stony internal lip. The interior is level, except for a slight drop in ground level in the E part. An E-W field wall/property boundary transects the rath to S of centre, and a perpendicular wall extends S through the SE quadrant. According to local tradition, the rath was used as a children's burial ground (MA119-022002-). Traces of cultivation ridges on a N-S axis are visible in the N half of the rath.
