What is recorded here
Situated on a slight rise in an area of rough undulating terrain. Depicted as a circular enclosure on both the 1st and latest ed. OS 6-inch maps. It can also be seen on an aerial photograph taken in 1973 (GSIAP, R 93/2) when it was covered in dense scrub. The area has since been cleared and the site levelled. Not visible at ground level.
