Ballygibbon Church (in ruins)

Situated on a S-facing slope in undulating terrain. A church situated in the NW angle of a roughly square-shaped graveyard (TN015-102002). It is composed of roughly coursed limestone rubble, orientated roughly E-W (dims. 17.9m x 9m, wall T 0.85m) with a doorway in the centre of the S wall which has been broken through, though the relieving arch survives. A pointed single-light window in the E gable is now partially blocked. There are two small single lights on the N wall, one at the E end and the other at the W. The OS Letters mention a window at the E end of the S wall and a flat-headed window in the W gable (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 3, 98-9). An aumbry occupies the SE angle.
