What is recorded here

Situated on a S-facing slope in undulating pastureland. Depicted as a large irregular-shaped enclosure on the 1st ed. and current OS 6-inch maps and as a roughly oval cropmark on an aerial photograph taken in 1973 (GSIAP, R 92/91). The outline of a large enclosure (diam. 53m N-S; 66m E-W) defined by the remains of a poorly preserved bank (Wth 1.58-6.9m; int. H 0.26m; ext. H 0.44) are barely visible.
