In pasture, on crest of hillock. Circular area (25.5m N-S; 24.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m) SSW->NW; defined by scarp (H 1.55m) elsewhere; shallow external fosse to NW. Gap in bank (Wth 1m) to SW. Cultivation ridges cross interior on N-S axis. Field boundary skirts enclosure NNW->SE.
