Ancestral hands built Indicated as a circular fortress on a south-facing slope in County Cork, standing twenty metres wide until human ambition erased it. The land remembers the shape even when soil forgets the name, preserving boundaries drawn before written history.

In S-facing slope. Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m). Indicated on 2nd and 3rd eds with E side removed; road curved to respect N bank.
