What is recorded here

Indicated is a ruined fairy fort in County Cork, Ireland. Its earth bank still stands on the south and west, while farm buildings consumed the east and interior. The site shows how human expansion can erase ancient boundaries, leaving only a partial ring behind.

In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Hachured as circular enclosure (diam. c. 38m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; E side truncated by farm buildings on 1940 OS 6-inch map. Earth and stone bank (H 1.4m), planted with coniferous trees, survives S->W. Interior built on, due to expansion of farmyard.
