Hipped slate roof with rendered chimneystacks having decorative terracotta pots and cast-iron rainwater goods, pitched corrugated-iron roof to porch. Rendered walls to main house, having roughcast rendered walls to rear extension and attached outbuilding. Square-headed window openings with limestone sills throughout, having one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Fixed timber-framed arcaded windows to porch. Square-headed door opening to porch, having glazed timber door with margined timber overlight. Round-headed opening to interior of porch. Two-storey outbuilding to rear having pitched corrugated-iron roof, roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills and timber casement windows. Square-headed door openings with timber battened doors. Set within own grounds having square-profile rendered gate-piers flanked by curving rendered walls to entrance.
Classical proportions are evident in the symmetrical façade and round-headed door opening, and are typical of middle sized houses of this time. The retention of historic features, including slate roof and timber sliding sash windows, adds to its character.
