Hut site in Maughanasilly

In rough hill pasture, on a NW-facing slope in a clearance area within a coniferous wood and within a network of relict field boundaries (CO092-060007-). The remains of a D-shaped hut site (3.5m NW-SE) defined by a largely grass-covered, curving, stone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) with a straight SE side (L 5m). The wall protrudes above the surface of the bog. The level interior is raised (H 0.2m) at the NW and is cut (D 0.3m) into the upslope at the NE.
